Seventh Angkringan: Ready to Face Disasters

CICP held its seventh Angkringan on June 28, 2024. This special session featured two distinguished speakers presenting on disaster-related topics. Nevi Kurnia Arianti delivered a talk on Psychosocial Support for Disaster Volunteers, accompanied by Intan Dewi Kumala who discussed Women and Disaster Resilience. Both speakers are PhD candidates in Psychology at UGM. The session was moderated by the dynamic Duma Marunung, a member of the CICP research team on disability and disaster. read more

Social Cheating: An Exciting Topic at CICP’s Angkringan 6

Held on June 14, 2024, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM and moderated by Dea Siti Hafsha, a CICP research intern, this session delved into the topic of social cheating behavior, featuring two exceptional speakers with extensive research experience on cheating. This theme aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) goal 16, which focuses on promoting peaceful and inclusive societies, ensuring access to justice, and building effective, accountable institutions. read more

CICP’s Angkringan is Now on Episode 5! Discussing Diversity: Threat or Blessing?

The fifth Angkringan episode brought a fresh perspective by featuring two outstanding speakers. Luluk Syahrul Kamal, as the first speaker, presented the topic Religiosity: Symbolic Threats Bridging Fanaticism to Prejudice. Equally captivating, Ika Hana Pertiwi shared her research findings on Interreligious Harmony.
