This workshop aims at developing manuscripts related to topics on psychology and culture. This includes topics on contemporary culture (including lifestyle, ways of thinking/being/doing). The targeted journals for the articles include Culture and Psychology and Human Arenas.
Manuscripts using qualitative approaches will be prioritized. However, quantitative approaches with a small number of samples which place analysis of meanings to the forefront will also be considered.
Workshop
- Participants: Lecturers and PhD students at the Faculty of Psychology UGM (as first author or author). At least one of the authors should be a lecturer or PhD student, but participants can also include co authors from the undergraduate or masters program.
- All participants are expected to fully participate during the whole duration of the workshop
- Participants with co authors may take turns with their co authors in participating in the workshop sessions
- Upon registration, participants who will join the workshop with their co authors are required to inform the committee
Promising manuscripts based on revision will be further reviewed and developed post workshop with guidance from the mentors until it is ready for submission.
